HIDIVE today announced a major app and website update that adds lots of new features that promise to enhance the platform’s user experience.
While HIDIVE is one of the biggest anime streaming platforms for viewers in the US, many anime fans have long asked for updated features.
That’s because HIDIVE’s website and app lacked some features that have become quite common in most streaming platforms.
What’s also great about this update is that it’s not just for the browser and mobile app versions, as apps for other devices have been updated as well.
HIDIVE App and Website Update 2024: All the New Features
As the exclusive streaming platform for popular titles like Oshi no Ko and The Eminence in Shadow, many anime fans in the US and other select regions go to HIDIVE for their seasonal anime fix.
For the longest time though, HIDIVE’s site and app lacked some key elements. This has been rectified finally, as HIDIVE’s new update adds an array of useful features.
To start, HIDIVE now has a simplified design that should make navigating the website and app smoother.
The search function has also been improved, meaning fans should be able to look up the anime of their choice more easily.
Along with the new user interface, HIDIVE now also has an offline viewing feature that lets users download anime episodes they can watch without an internet connection.
Other new features include customized watchlists users can take advantage of to line up shows they want to watch, as well as a watch history update with a handy log of shows users have seen.

Where Is the HIDIVE Update Available? Here Are All the Platforms
HIDIVE announced the new update today via its official website and social media pages. There, it was confirmed that the update has now been rolled out on the website version of the platform.
The HIDIVE mobile apps for Android and iOS have also now been updated. On top of these, apps for Apple TV, Android TV, Roku, and Fire TV also received the update.
Finally, the announcement confirmed that more updates are on the way in the coming weeks, which will add more useful features.
For now, there’s no word yet on plans for app release on platforms like Samsung TV and PS5, though based on the reactions to the announcement on X, there is some demand for these app versions.
This update comes ahead of the spring 2024 season, which promises to deliver lots of highly anticipated shows.
HIDIVE has yet to announce its complete spring lineup, though expect an announcement ahead of April, as was the case in winter 2024.
