Here's What Captain Marvel Was Doing Before Joining Avengers: Endgame

The world is about to meet Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel, but where exactly has the superhero been while Thanos was busy getting rid of half of the universe in Avengers: Infinity War? The new footage from Avengers: Endgame has just revealed that Brie Larson's character has been a very busy girl.

Disney shareholders were recently treated to previously-unseen footage from Endgame. One attendee shared details on Twitter about the footage where Captain Marvel actually joins the Avengers at their headquarters, which led to an interesting exchange between Carol and James "Rhodey" Rhodes.

"Rhodey asks where she was because they could have used her before. Cap M says a lot of other planets out there need help and they don't have Avengers like Earth has," he wrote before adding that Carol wasn't even fazed when Thor's hammer whizzed past her head. "I like this one," Thor reportedly said.

Carol's explanation certainly makes sense but it also confirms that she knows about the Avengers. On the other hand, the heroes (or the fans) had no idea of her existence until the post-credits scene in Infinity War. Nevertheless, we're glad that Captain Marvel is finally joining the fight this year.

The tweet also confirmed that Nebula knows where Thanos is currently hiding and that the Avengers along with Carol are heading there to kick some Mad Titan butt. Needless to say, we're all looking forward to what will happen in Endgame this April.

The synopsis for Endgame reads as follows:

"Following the events of Avengers: Infinity War, the universe lies in shambles and the remaining Avengers and their allies must reassemble to repair the damage caused by Thanos and bring harmony back to the universe."

Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26.
