Heo Sung Tae Drops Terrifying Warning to his Impostor on Instagram
In his latest Instagram post, the 44-year-old actor expressed his anger and posted a screenshot of the fake account.
Heo Sung Tae gave a strong warning and wrote “@_heosungtae.__ Do you wanna die? Not me.”
However, immediately after the Adamas actor tagged and posted the fake Instagram account the person handling the username turned it to a fan page.
Besides the 44-year-old actor, several Korean celebrities have been victimized by impostors hiding behind fake social media accounts.
Jung Woo Sung, Hyun Bin, and More Call Out Users Creating Fake Instagram Accounts
In 2018, Jung Woo Sung took to social media and shared a screenshot of a fake Instagram profile containing several photos of him.
“Beware of fake accounts,” he wrote, warning his millions of IG followers regarding these types of online fraud.
In the same year, f(x)’s Luna revealed that someone attempted to scam her family by hacking her NAVER contacts and creating a fake KakaoTalk ID.
On the other hand, Hyun Bin’s agency, VAST Entertainment released an official statement in 2021, warning fans regarding fake social media accounts.
As noted by Soompi, the label mentioned that they have been receiving reports about accounts using their name or their artist’s names on various social platforms.
Moreover, VAST Entertainment also highlighted that the Crash Landing on You star does not own any personal social media accounts like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Heo Sung Tae’s K-Drama: From Villain to Adamas’ Protagonist
The emerging fake SNS of the actor comes after Heo Sung Tae skyrocketed to fame after joining the cast of the Squid Game.
The 44-year-old actor took the role of villain and gangster boss Jang Deok Soo or player 0o. 101.
There’s no denying that despite playing the antagonist, viewers were drawn to his impressive acting, especially his scenes with Jung Ho Yeon, who played Kang Sae Byeok, and Kim Joo Ryoung as Han Mi Nyeo.
Since his appearance in the Netflix series, Heo Sung Tae starred in back-to-back projects.
From the star-studded, The Silent Sea with Gong Yoo and Bae Doona, the versatile actor also joined the cast of Bloody Heart and Insider.
Currently, he is starring in Adamas and breaking away from the villain role as he plays Ji Sung’s partner in crime thriller series.
Apart from his latest K-drama, Heo Sung Tae also reunited with Squid Game co-star Lee Jung Jae, as one of the supporting actors in his directorial debut Hunt.
Interestingly, the espionage action film, which stars Jung Woo Sung, Jeon Hye Jin, Go Yoon Jung, and Lee Jung Jae, reached over 1.5 million viewers since its premiere.
On top of it, Hunt remains number one at the Korean box office, next to Park Hae Il’s Hansan: Rising Dragon.
