It looks like we haven't seen the last of Henry Cavill's Superman just yet!

A recent report from Deadline reveals that Cavill is in talks to return as Superman. However, it's not what the fans are expecting. Instead of a Man of Steel sequel, Cavill will reportedly appear in multiple upcoming DC Comics movies; though the outlet is uncertain as to which films he will be in.

That being said, Variety's sources reveal that Cavill's Superman cameo is going to be in one of the upcoming movies - The Suicide Squad, Aquaman 2, or even The Batman. The outlet pointed out that it won't be in Zack Snyder's Justice League.

While a Man of Steel sequel isn't in the works, it's still exciting to learn that the actor will reprise his role as Clark Kent. ComicBook.com even describes his alleged return as something of a "similar capacity to Marvel's use of Nick Fury and the Hulk," where the character appears in films for a supporting role or cameo.

The future of Cavill's Man of Steel is still uncertain, but it looks like these alleged cameos in upcoming movies are stepping stones for Warner Bros. and DC Comics in figuring out what to do and what best fits the character. Regardless of what film/films he'll appear in, fans ought to be delighted with his return.
