Hellboy Actor David Harbour Essentially Confirms That He's in Black Widow

Despite Marvel Studios not saying anything, it seems like Black Widow is the next MCU installment coming out next year. Rumor has it that this movie, as well as Doctor Strange 2, will be the first 2020 installments coming from Marvel and recent reports have stated that Hellboy and Stranger Things star David Harbour has joined Black Widow. Rather than be vague, Harbour has essentially confirmed that he will be in the movie.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, the actor didn't reveal "too much," but basically confirmed that he would be in the movie. Yeah, he didn't say what his role was but the fact that he immediately went on to praise the movie's director shows that the actor is in. It will be interesting to see who he ends up playing and it would be really cool if he plays someone we all know (Taskmaster please).

"[Marvel would] kick me out so fast…[if I reveal anything].Look here's what I will say. It's being directed by this woman Kate Shortland who is a phenomenal director. She directed a movie calledLore. She's a phenomenal director, so what's really exciting to me about it is it's gonna be like a real deep, interesting film. And so yeah, I'm just excited for it as a film as well as a superhero movie."

No release date has been revealed, though rumor has it that the movie will begin filming this June. Black Widow will likely come out in 2020 and we can expect more details when Avengers: Endgame comes out.
