Stephen Amell confirms the coming of Heels Season 2, albeit with a delay. The show started its production earlier last year, but there are no words yet on when it will officially come out.
The show’s first season ended in October 2021 with Jack (Amell) and Ace (Alexander Ludwig) having the need to come to terms with what really matters to them despite their desire to shape the family-owned wrestling promotion of Duffy Wrestling League (DWL). So, will the two brothers finally see what's important for them in Heels Season 2?
Stephen Amell Confirms Heels Season 2’s Coming
The filming for the show’s second season started in March 2022 and concluded in the same year. However, no official trailer or news about the second season’s arrival has yet been dropped.
Thankfully, Amell finally gave an update about the show’s second iteration on Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum.
The interview was already recorded in September, but he seemed confident that Heels Season 2 would still come.

“Heels is coming out eventually. They are now in the process of, as best I understand it, ‘untangling’ that partnership.’ As they are untangling everything, they are figuring out which assets belong to whom,” he said.
“So as a result, we wrapped filming [Season 2] on the first of July, and we don’t have a premiere date, let alone a trailer, let alone an indication of Season 3,” he continued.
Aside from the second season, the Arrow star also revealed that the works for the third season might have already started.

“I know there are meetings that are starting to happen about writing for Season 3, but in the normal order of things, we would have more information than we do right now,” he hinted.
What Will Happen in Heels Season 2?
Amell also teased what would happen in Heels Season 2, hinting it would be “spectacular.”
“I would be worried if I didn’t think the season was spectacular, and I think the season is spectacular,” he added.

“It’s way better. More story, more scope…and it also felt more like a cohesive season because we actually shot it in order and were subject to COVID ‘hiccups’ but not COVID catastrophes,” he stated. “I’m still very, very confident that there’s going to be more [Heels] to film.”
Though Amell didn’t reveal when Heels Season 2 will exactly be out, he teased it would be this year.
