The Spring 2024 season is about to kick off, and with it come lots of exciting shows. Among them is Gods’ Games We Play which recently announced its English dub cast and release date.
This upcoming series is one of the few anime that will get a simuldub release, meaning its English dub version will be streamed on the same day that its Japanese version will air.
Which Studio Is Animating Gods’ Games We Play?
It may seem like an isekai at first given its look coupled with the fact that it’s based on a light novel, but Gods’ Games We Play is a fantasy anime.
Producing this new series is Liden Films, the popular anime studio behind shows like Tokyo Revengers, Insomniacs After School, and the Rurouni Kenshin remake.
While many of Liden Films’ popular works are not fantasy shows, the studio is no stranger to the genre.
After all, the studio has worked on popular fantasy titles like Goblin Slayer II and The Legendary Hero is Dead.
Aside from having a notable studio, the show also features lots of well-known Japanese VAs. Its cast includes Nobunaga Shimazaki (Mahito in Jujutsu Kaisen) and Akari Kito (Nezuko in Demon Slayer).

Meet the Gods’ Games We Play English Dub Cast
The show’s Japanese voice cast features lots of big names, but its English cast isn’t far behind. That’s because the show’s English VAs are also notable anime voice actors.
Here are the confirmed voice cast members of the show so far:

- Trisha Mellon (Nazuna Asahina in Classroom of the Elite) as Leshea
- Rebecca Danae (Lawine in Frieren: Beyond Journey's End) as Asta
- Molly Searcy (Jeanne in The Case Study of Vanitas) as Miranda
- Kristin Sutton (Shiro in The Helpful Fox Senko-san) as Meep
- Kristian Eros (Tomato Devil in Chainsaw Man) as Male Reporter

Gods’ Games We Play English Dub Release Date Announced
Simuldub releases aren’t that common as there are only a few examples recently, such as Delicious in Dungeon.
In fact, even something as big as Solo Leveling doesn’t have a simuldub release.
Thus, it’s quite a surprise that Crunchyroll confirmed that the Gods’ Games We Play English dub will be streamed on the platform beginning April 1, 2024.
As there’s no word yet on a two cour release, chances are that this series will have around 12 or 13 episodes.
