With the show now in its final few episodes, the question on many viewers’ minds is if Go Go Loser Ranger season 2 will be announced when the first season ends this month.
There’s no official word yet on season 2 plans, but from the looks of it, there’s a decent chance that this show will be renewed based on the various anime adaptations of Shonen Magazine titles.
Is Go Go Loser Ranger Season 2 Going to Be Announced? Our Predictions
Go Go Loser Ranger is an anime by Yostar Pictures that’s based on the Weekly Shonen Magazine manga of the same name by Negi Haruba, the creator of The Quintessential Quintuplets.
This series is an unexpected one for Haruba considering how different it is from his previous hit series. Still, it has become quite successful as it has been ongoing for three years now.
Soon, an anime adaptation was announced, and it premiered in April 2024. As with most seasonal shows, the first season only has 12 episodes, with the final episode set to air on June 30.
Currently, there’s no season 2 announcement yet. If it does get announced, there’s a chance that its renewal will be revealed shortly after the first season’s finale.
As for the chances of it being renewed, the odds are good that it will get a continuation.
After all, most anime adaptations of Shonen Magazine titles such as Blue Lock, Rent-a-Girlfriend, and Shangri-La Frontier have gotten more than one season.
Go Go Loser Ranger Season 2 Release Date Predictions
If it does end up getting renewed for season 2, fans will likely have to wait a bit before the anime gets released, possibly in spring or summer 2025 if it gets announced ASAP.
Typically, new seasons are released around a year after the first season to give the staff time to work on it. There are cases where the gap is only nine months, or sometimes even shorter such as in Mashle season 2’s case.
Whatever the case may be, we probably won’t see the second season be released in 2024.
Exploring the Potential Second Season’s Story
Currently, the manga already has over 140 chapters, with the story not seeming like it’s going to wrap up soon.
As such, there should be plenty of material left to cover should a second season be announced even with the first season having a fast pace.
Meanwhile, its story will likely cover the events of volume 7 until potentially the 10th volume as that part of the story should make a good endpoint for a second season.
