Ghostbusters Star Bill Murray Seemingly Confirms He's in Ant-Man 3

A while ago, there were rumors that Ghostbusters star and legendary comedian Bill Murray will be appearing in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. But as it turns out, it might be true at all.

Per Deadline, during an interview with the German outlet Frankfurter Allgemeine, Murray revealed that he recently worked on a Marvel movie. He didn't specify the title, but his clues pretty much point that it's Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

He said, "You know, recently I made a Marvel movie. I probably won’t tell you, but never mind. In any case, some people were quite surprised why I decided on such a project. But for me the thing was quite clear: I got to know the director – and really liked him very much. He was funny, humble, everything you want from a director. And with the cheerleader story Bring It On he made a movie years ago which I think is damn good. So I agreed, although I’m not interested in these huge comic book adaptations as an actor otherwise…Let’s put it this way: the director is a good guy, and now I’ve at least tried out what it’s like to shoot a Marvel movie. But I don’t think I need that experience a second time. And to come back to your previous question: I have mostly had a pretty good knack for avoiding the nasties of this industry. Fortunately, most good artists are also good people. At least that’s how I experience it with my friends."

The actor mentioned the film Bring It On which is directed by Peyton Reed, who is also the director of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. That pretty much says that he is talking about the third Ant-Man film and it is in alignment with the rumor that was being reported a while ago. It is great to hear that Murray will be part of the film as he is a wonderful actor and comedian. He could bring something fun to the film and it's great that he was able to be part of it even though he is not a fan of comic book movies.

The question now is whose character is he going to play? He mentioned in the interview that he won't be appearing in a Marvel movie again which indicates that he is playing a one-off character. There are fans who are speculating that he will be playing an Elder of the Universe. Whatever it is, fans are definitely delighted that he will be part of the MCU.
