Ghost Doctor is the newest tvN Kdrama that stars Rain, Kim Bum, Uee, and APINK Son Naeun. It depicts the story of a genius doctor with impressive surgery skills despite his arrogant and selfish character. After getting involved in an accident, his soul wanders the hospital and possesses a young doctor’s body to conduct surgeries for critical patients.
The series has been seeing a small yet steady rise in ratings ever since its premiere on January 3, 2022. Ghost Doctor Episode 12 received a nationwide viewership rating of 5.709%, which was an increase from the previous episode ratings.

Ghost Doctor Episode 12 Recap
Ghost Doctor Episode 12 sees Young Min losing his temper when Seung Tak tries to reveal the truth to Se Jin. Torn between believing or not, Se Jin decides to ignore Seung Tak’s nonsense and warns him to stay away from Young Min’s body and never show himself again.
The next day, Young Min found Se Jin unconscious in her office. He borrows Seung Tak’s body to bring her to the emergency room. When she finally regained consciousness, she found herself inside Young Min’s apartment.
Se Jin spends the rest of the day with Young Min, who is still inside Seung Tak’s body. As they visit the places they’ve been to when they were still in a relationship, Se Jin tries her best to ignore the idea that Young Min’s spirit is really possessing Seung Tak.
On the other hand, Seung Tak discovers the “wall” that has been blocking Young Min from regaining consciousness. When they did an angiogram, they discovered that his innominate artery got thinner; that’s why the blood flow to his brain was weak.
Ghost Doctor Episode 12 also revealed a bit of Tess’s past. It turns out that he was a doctor in the hospital and was among the greatest and most talented in the field. However, the reason why he has been lurking around the hospital for more than 20 years was yet to be unveiled.
Meanwhile, Seung Tak schedules Young Min for surgery the next morning. The two previously agreed that they would not do any operations for a while since Young Min experienced a discoordination between his spirit and Seung Tak’s body during the previous possession.
However, Seung Tak falls into a situation wherein he had no choice but to accept a difficult operation or else the patient would die. Young Min was hesitant to help Seung Tak, but he gave in right at the moment when the patient was in an absolute life-and-death situation.
The first seconds went smoothly, but Young Min suddenly got out of Seung Tak’s body and could not return. At the same time, the patient gets a flat line just after Tess arrives to aid Seung Tak and Young Min.
