There's so much to look forward to in Game of Thrones Season 8, but could a baby actually be one of them? There have been several theories suggesting that Daenerys Targaryen will become pregnant with Jon Snow's child after the steamy sex scene in the previous season finale. Interestingly, some new photos may have confirmed that the Mother of Dragons will eventually become the Mother of A Perfectly Normal Human Child.
Game of Thrones has recently shared some new photos from the first two episodes of the final season. Not surprisingly, fans immediately pored over all the little details in the images and one picture reportedly features a growing baby bump.
The photo in question shows Dany with Jorah Mormont. Although it appears that the Mother of Dragons is looking snug in her gorgeous winter coat, people have pointed out that it appears like she is hiding a bump.
Of course, it might simply be an unflattering angle of Emilia Clarke. Nevertheless, fans are convinced that Dany will learn early on that she is pregnant with Jon's child. Another photo, this time featuring Clarke and Episode 2 director David Nutter, might also show the baby bump.
So will Daenerys become pregnant in the final season? It's certainly an interesting idea that could raise the stakes in Season 8. After all, Winterfell could be attacked by the White Walker army in Episode 3 and Dany will certainly need protection for herself and her unborn child. Hopefully, they will all make it out alive.
Game of Thrones Season 8 will air on HBO on April 14.
