Game Of Thrones Prequel Title And Logo Possibly Revealed

The plot of the highly anticipated Game of Thrones prequel is still a huge mystery but it looks like we finally know the title for the upcoming HBO series. In addition to that, the logo for the show may have been revealed.

The report comes from Watchers On The Wall, which points out that the title comes from a production sheet for the Game of Thrones prequel. You can view the image here.

So does this confirm that the Game of Thrones prequel will be titled Bloodmoon? So far, the title has been considered the production codename. It's possible that HBO is once again being extremely secretive about the series and is using the code as a decoy. On the other hand, Bloodmoon seems like a great fit for a show that takes place at a time where dragons were the last thing the people of Westeros were worried about.

There's another title out that George R.R. Martin obviously favors but has since rescinded since HBO had not made it official. The Long Night seems like a better fit to Bloodmoon but we'll have to wait for an official announcement to be sure.

While Bloodmoon has already started production, there is another Game of Thrones prequel that will not be pushing through. It was previously reported that Bryan Cogman was supposed to work on a prequel. Unfortunately, the Game of Thrones writer admitted that his planned series has been cancelled.

The first Game of Thrones prequel has not yet been given a release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
