At this point, it seems like everyone has watched and enjoyed the first season of House of the Dragon. Not surprisingly, even Kit Harington has seen the Game of Thrones prequel and he has nothing but praise for the new show. In addition to that, the Eternals actor has spoken up about the planned Jon Snow series.
Kit Harington recently spoke to The Hollywood Reporter where he was asked about his opinion on House of the Dragon. Interestingly, he revealed that he is not yet done with the series.
"You know, I’ve fallen off a bit — not because I’m not enjoying it — but just been very busy," Harington said. He then added that he has every intention to watch the entire show.
"I’m gonna catch up. I’m sort of halfway through the season. I need to watch the second half, so I’m gonna try and avoid any kind of spoilers," Harington said before praising the cast and crew.
"I mean, it’s great. They’ve done a brilliant job with it. I’m really impressed with that show and how they’ve continued it," he said.
Perhaps the more important Game of Thrones-related question that fans are hoping to get an answer to would be about the Jon Snow series. But when asked about developments on the sequel, Harington claimed that he does not have any updates and he said so in an answer that Jon Snow would agree with.
"I know nothing about that. I’m sorry," Harington said.
Well, at least he's staying true to his character. For now, the Game of Thrones sequel is still in development but we're hoping to get updates soon.
House of the Dragon Season 2 and the Jon Snow series have not yet been given an official release date. In the meantime, all episodes of the first season of House of the Dragon are streaming on HBO Max.
