What would you do if you saw a Jon Snow cosplayer asking weird questions out in Times Square? Better double check on this fellow because he might actually be a Game of Thrones actor. Emilia Clarke just pranked several New Yorkers by dressing up as the King in the North in an effort to promote her charity work.
Emilia Clarke has once again teamed up with Omaze for another exciting Game of Thrones promo. But this year, she's not trying to spoil anything about the series. In the new video, Clarke puts on Jon Snow's trademark dark clothes, hair, and beard and had some fun with clueless New Yorkers.
The idea of Clarke dressing up as Jon Snow is certainly hilarious but the Game of Thrones actress takes it up a notch by trying to lower her voice and asking people some truly strange questions. At one point, she asks a woman if she would like to watch the final episode of the series with Emilia Clarke and gets a surprising answer: "I'm a Walking Dead fan." Clarke even tries to convince the woman she could tell her how it ends but the TWD fan declines. "Fine," Clarke finally says. "Whatever."
At one point, she ends up in a souvenir shop where she finds an Aquaman toy. Clarke simply couldn't pass up the chance to praise former co-star Jason Momoa and even walks away with the Arthur Curry toy.
In the end, one man finally agreed that he would be interested in watching the Game of Thrones Season 8 finale with Emilia Clarke although he has never seen the show. At this point, Clarke somehow gives up and retreats.
Clarke's effort is certainly for a good cause. One lucky winner will be chosen to join her for a private screening of the Game of Thrones Season 8 finale.
