In case you weren't aware, today marks the official day we commemorate the existence of arguably comic book's most iconic female superhero Wonder Woman and we can't think of a better person to kick-off the celebration that Wonder Woman 1984 star herself Gal Gadot.
The live-action Diana Prince ushered in the festivities to celebrate the annual Wonder Woman Day and she's making sure to suit up before anything else. Taking to her social media pages, Gal posted a short video of her as she gears up for the DC event. She even wears the Amazonian Princess' iconic golden gauntlets to do Wonder Woman's iconic pose. Gal has undoubtedly become the face of the DC character for a couple of years now thanks to her brilliant performances as Diana Prince and quite frankly, she totally deserves all the attention she's been getting. Her existence in the DC Extended Universe also proved to be vital for the "struggling" franchise as the first Wonder Woman film saved DC's shared universe from the brink of extinction. Of course, expect Gal to stick around in the coming years and appear in more DC films in the future. I'm not going to complain.
That being said, Wonder Woman 1984 is slated to hit cinemas on Christmas Day 2020.
