Rooftop Prince is an old K-drama that still manages to land itself on our list.

The show follows Crown Prince Yi Gak (played by Park Yoo-chun) who gets transported to modern-day Seoul from the Chosun Dynasty.

He meets Ho Se-na (played by Jung Yu-mi) who has a resemblance to his deceased wife. Yi Gak takes a job at Se-na's company to uncover the mysterious death of his wife.

She Was Pretty (2015)

A classic romantic comedy that is part of our list is She Was Pretty. This series follows Kim Hye-jin (played by Hwang Jung-eum) who lost her fortune and youth.

After this, Hye-jin gets scared to meet her friend, Ji Sung-joon (played by Park Seo-joon). She convinces her roommate Min Ha-ri (played by Koh Joon-hee) to pretend to be her.

But the joke's on her as she lands a job at Sung-joon's company, where he treats her badly.

My Only Love Song (2017)

If you're a history nerd, My Only Love Song is one that combines period genre with comedy.

The show follows Song Soo-jong (played by Gong Seung-yeon), a conceited actress who loves money. But after a time portal brings her back to the Goguryeo era, her life turns around.

She meets On Dal (played by Lee Jong-hyun), an ambitious man with a generous heart.

The Fiery Priest (2019)

The Fiery Priest is an action comedy that follows three main characters who are always contradicting each other.

Kim Hae-il (played by Kim Nam-gil) is a foul-mouthed Catholic priest, Park Kyung-sun (played by Lee Hanee) is an ambitious prosecutor, and Koo Dae-young (played by Kim Sung-kyun) is a timid detective.

As an unlikely trio, however, they team up to investigate the murder of an elderly priest.

Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha is a feel-good series that follows a dentist, Yoon Hye-jin (played by Shin Min-ah) as she moves to a seaside village and restarts her life.

She crosses paths with Hong Doo-shik (played by Kim Seon Ho), a local jack-of-all-trades known as Mr. Hong.

The two fall in love with each other despite trying their best not to.
