Full Cast List and Teaser Revealed For Seth Rogen's Ninja Turtles Reboot


This year's Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards has given us our very first official look at the upcoming animated reboot Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (2023)! Not only that, producer Seth Rogen has also revealed the full cast list for the film, and it's pretty star-studded to say the least...

Mutant Mayhem will be hitting theaters this August, and ever since it was announced in 2021, there has been a lot of buzz surrounding the film, largely because Seth Rogen has been attached as producer, and has also promised that it will focus on the "teenage aspect" of the Ninja Turtles like never before.

Well, when Rogen took to the stage at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards on Sunday night, he seemed to deliver on his promise, as the four voice actors who joined him are the youngest actors to have ever played Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael, and Donatello.

The rest of the cast list was also announced, and though the four actors who are playing the Ninja Turtles are newcomers, there are quite a few very well-known names among the list - including Seth Rogen himself, who will be playing the second warthog of his career! Check it out below:

The event also unveiled the first official teaser for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. While very short, we do get our first look at the Ninja Turtles in action, and the animation looks pretty cool to say the least.

And last but not least, Rogen announced that the official trailer for the film drops today on Monday August 6!

Mutant Mayhem will be the second animated Ninja Turtles movie to hit theaters, following TMNT (2007). While there is another live-action reboot in the works from producer Michael Bay, Rogen's film will likely make a huge impression at the box office this summer.

The film will also be accompanied by a wave of new toys, which is already starting to feel like Turtle-Mania in the '90s all over again!

As per Wikipedia, here's the plot for Mutant Mayhem:

After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtles set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O'Neil helps them take on a notorious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (2023) will be released in theaters on August 4, 2023.
