Former Disney Artist Imagines What the MCU X-Men Will Look Like

Now that The X-Men are MCU-bound, fans have been theorizing about how we will be seeing Marvel's merry band of mutants on the big screen. We've seen a number of X-Men movies in the past, both good and bad, but you can bet that Kevin Feige will give us more comic-accurate costumes since he already stated that they will be different from previous films. If they can match the visuals in this piece of fan art, we're in for some good times.

Former Disney visual artist Jason Pastrana posted some really cool art of Wolverine, Cyclops, and Storm fighting off some Sentinels. While one could argue that Disney won't make these three characters the very first X-Men, there's no doubt that the imagery we see below is gorgeous and the MCU X-Men need to look like this.

Wolverine and Cyclops have more streamlined versions of their Astonishing X-Men costumes, which were already more streamlined than their old superhero outfits, while Storm looks like her ‘80s self, thanks to that mohawk. None of us would complain if they ended up looking like this in the final product since most of us are done with the not-costumes Fox would always put these characters in.

Remember how X-Men: Apocalypse introduced more colorful costumes and they were ignored in Dark Phoenix? I hate remembering things sometimes.

As of this writing, there is no release date for the MCU X-Men movie. In the meantime, fans should read Powers of X and House of X, which changes the X-Men completely.
