We all know for a fact that "cancel culture" has become a thing in Hollywood and even our favorite celebrities aren't exactly immune to drawing flak for their actions or the things they say during interviews and on social media.

A prime example is Guardians of the Galaxy actor Chris Pratt who has been under fire since 2019 for allegedly attending a Christian church that mocks the LGBTQIA+ community. For the longest time, Pratt has remained silent regarding the matter but in an interview with Men's Health, the MCU star denied his involvement in the said religious institution.

The Jurassic World: Dominion actor even went as far as saying that he doesn't consider himself to be a religious person. He told the outlet: "Religion has been oppressive as (expletive) for a long time. I didn't know that I would kind of become the face of religion when really I'm not a religious person."

Shockingly enough, fans aren't buying Pratt's latest claims and instead of letting the issue die once and for all, some of them even posted "evidence" that the actor is in fact devoted to his faith, contrary to his most recent remarks. Check out some of the reactions below:

To be fair, Pratt stated in the interview that he actually believes in God despite not being "religious" and those are two completely different things. I just wish the fans would finally cut the actor some slack because I think he's one of the nicest people in Tinseltown.

Meanwhile, Chris Pratt is set to appear in Thor: Love and Thunder which is slated for release on July 8, 2022.
