Falcon and Winter Soldier Will Reportedly Bring Back This Captain America: Winter Soldier Villain

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is going to be a pretty important chapter for the MCU, as it plants the seeds for Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson to become the new Captain America. This series will also try to clean up any remaining plot threads from previous movies, particularly with Captain America: Civil War as Sam and Bucky try to capture Baron Zemo. However, if this report is true, it looks like there will also be a villain from Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

According to The Weekly Planet Podcast, Georges St-Pierre will supposedly be returning as Batroc, aka Batroc ze Leaper. During Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Batroc actually held his own during the opening sequence with Captain America, already making him more credible than his comic book counterpart.

While fans should take this report with a grain of salt, keep in mind that this source also reported Matt Damon appearing in Thor: Ragnarok, which ended up being true. It was a really short cameo where he played an Asgardian playing Loki in a play about Loki created by Loki. There's still no official word on this being true but we'll have to wait and see.

Most of us wouldn't mind seeing Batroc again since it could mean another stellar fight, with either Falcon or Winter Soldier. He could be one of Zemo's lackeys or a one-off villain for the heroes to take out early on.

Falcon and Winter Soldier will be coming to the Disney+ streaming service by this August.
