Falcon and Winter Soldier Series Could Include Sharon Carter and Zemo

While most fans were content with Captain America's ending in Avengers: Endgame, some are probably curious some remaining plot elements from previous films that are ripe for potential. It seems like Marvel Studios is thinking in the same wavelength, as a report from Deadline claims that Falcon and Winter Soldier could feature Zemo and Sharon Carter from Civil War and Winter Soldier respectively.

According to the report, both Daniel Bruhl (Zemo) and Emily VanCamp (Sharon Carter) are in talks to appear in the series, which should be very interesting. Hopefully, they don't bring up the fact that Emily might have made out with her great uncle if the writers/The Russos are right about Steve being the father of Peggy's kids.

The lack of Sharon in Endgame and Infinity War was pretty disappointing, though it wouldn't have made much storyline sense to be fair. As for Zemo, the man is still in prison after the events of Civil War, which led to the death of T'Challa's father. Since he didn't wear his classic Baron Zemo garb from the comics, it will be interesting to see if the MCU eventually leans toward that direction.

Falcon and Winter Soldier currently doesn't have a release date but is expected to come out sometime after the launch of the Disney+ streaming service, if not alongside it.
