Eternals Star Shares BTS Photo of Harry Styles' Deleted Scene

We can now openly confirm that Harry Styles is in Eternals. The former One Direction singer played Thanos' brother Eros in the mid-credits scene where he offers to help the remaining Eternals. However, it looks like Styles almost had a bigger role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe flick. Lia McHugh has just shared some behind-the-scenes photos confirming Styles filmed another scene that was ultimately deleted from the theatrical cut!

Lia McHugh played Sprite in Eternals but she didn't get to share any scenes with Harry Styles. Or did she? McHugh posted several never-before-seen pictures on her official Instagram account and one image shows the young actress posing along with Styles and Richard Madden.

Fans were quick to notice that all three actors are wearing the same robes that the Eternals wore in the film's opening scene. This led to speculations that Styles had shot a similar scene, possibly confirming that the future Starfox was going to play a larger role in the movie.

It's unclear why Styles' scene was deleted from the theatrical cut. However, there's a possibility that it will be included as one of the special features in the Eternals DVD and Blu-ray. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

Styles' brief appearance in Eternals certainly had fans hoping that he is going to be one of the major players in the MCU's Phase 4. For now, there hasn't been any news on the Dunkirk star working on another Marvel project. However, there's a huge chance we'll be hearing more about this in the next few months.

Eternals was directed by Chloe Zhao and also stars Gemma Chan, Kumail Nanjiani, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Harish Patel, Kit Harington, Salma Hayek, and Angelina Jolie. The film is still screening in theaters worldwide.
