Eternals Star Possibly Teased Feyd-Rautha Casting in Dune: Part 2

Denis Villeneuve has already confirmed that we'll be seeing Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen in Dune: Part Two. But is it possible that we already know who will play the ruthless villain in the sequel? Eternals star Barry Keoghan may have already teased being cast for the role in the highly anticipated second movie.

Feyd-Rautha was notably absent in Dune: Part One but fans were not exactly too worried considering that the film would only adapt the first part of Frank Herbert's book. Luckily, Villeneuve has confirmed that Feyd will be a major part of the sequel but didn't reveal who will portray the younger nephew of Baron Vladimir Harkonnen.

But is it possible that Feyd-Rautha will be played by Keoghan? The Dunkirk actor was previously asked about his possible Dune: Part Two casting and Keoghan somehow admitted that he would love to be part of the sequel. Some believe that his coy response confirmed his involvement which is currently being kept secret. However, we're hoping to get an official announcement from the studios soon.

In the book, Feyd-Rautha is the chosen heir of House Harkonnen and a skilled fighter in single combat. Unlike his brother Glossu Rabban, Feyd is seen as charismatic and intelligent, making him an excellent choice to become the heir of Baron Harkonnen. He would later challenge lead protagonist Paul Atreides in the act of kanly. The character was played by musician Sting (Gordon Sumner) in David Lynch's 1984 adaptation.

For now, it has not yet been revealed who will play Feyd in Dune: Part Two. However, we could be getting news about the sequel by early next year when the new project finally begins production. In the meantime, the second film is expected to hit theaters in October 2023. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
