Eternals Confirmed to Have Two Post-Credits Scenes

It has been a norm to stick until the end of the credits when you watch an MCU film since they always show additional scenes that either tease about one of the upcoming films in the franchise, a revelation of a twist, or just a fun gag in relation to a particular moment in the film. The next MCU entry Eternals is no exception to that.

Speaking with Fandango, director Chloe Zhao was asked if the audience should stick for the credits and expect the traditional post-credits scenes. She answered, "Yes! Don't just stay for the first one — also stay for the second one, too. They are equally as important in weight, and both have big surprises for you."

There you go, Eternals is confirmed to have two post-credits scenes. Zhao pointed out that they are "equally as important in weight" and have "big surprises" which indicate that they are a must-see by the audience and they are important moments that we should watch out for since they could hint about the future of the MCU.

If we look at the history of the MCU, most of the films have two post-credits scenes. Usually, one of them teases about a future film while the other is either a gag or an extended scene from a previous moment. But in the past few years, a lot of post-credits scenes have become more important and have larger implications on the future of the MCU ever than before. Spider-Man: Far from Home is a great example where the first one showed a larger implication for Spider-Man in the next film while the second one revealed a plot twist that changed how you see the entire film.
