Epic Marvel Fan Theory Makes Compelling Case for Space Nazis’ Existence in MCU

Marvel fans have a whole lot of time on their hands right now that everyone's forced to stay at home to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, and it looks like they're using that time to cook up some pretty insane fan theories online.

One of the most recent fan theories to make the rounds on Reddit is pretty wacky - it makes a strong case for the existence of space Nazis in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Pointing out how Avengers: Endgame reveals Red Skull (Hugo Weaving) gets transported to Vormir after his fight with Captain America (Chris Evans) in Captain America: The First Avenger, Redditor u/bluliger2 says that the villain could have inadvertently done the same thing when he first zapped his Nazi officers in the Captain America standalone movie.

For those who need a quick refresher, early on in Captain America: The First Avenger, Red Skull had been lambasted by his Nazi officers for failing to produce the weapons that he had promised the government. Put to anger, Johann Schmidt decides to prove the power of his scientific research by turning the weapons powered by the Tesseract on the dissenting officers.

Red Skull effectively zaps the officers into nothingness. Thrilled by the power he has in his hand, he uses the Tesseract-powered gun to shoot the last German soldier standing right after the battle.

Seeing how the weapon was powered by the Tesseract, we understand why u/bluliger2 would wonder whether the Nazis had actually been sent out to space like Red Skull was in Endgame.

What do you think? Did Marvel accidentally create the premise for Space Nazis? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below.
