Endgame And Infinity War Screen Time Reveals Iron Man Was More Featured Than Thanos

Joe and Anthony Russo might have had to shuffle around screentime for so many different Marvel heroes and villains in Avengers: Endgame and in Avengers: Infinity War, but it looks like one Avenger got even more screen time than Thanos (Josh Brolin) in the Russo's two-part Avengers movie.

A Marvel fan decided to study and break down Marvel's latest cinematic feat by taking time to tabulate how many seconds of screentime each different Marvel hero or villain earned in both Endgame and Infinity War.

Taking to YouTube to announce the findings, this fan who goes by the name Shinya Kogami, reveals that among all the different characters in the Russo's two-part Avengers movie, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) has the most screentime, appearing in 3001 seconds of the movie. That's roughly 50 minutes of screentime. Thanos, on the other hand, the central character of both films, only earned about 2272 seconds on the big screen, which is roughly only about 38 minutes.

It's a pretty interesting finding. The Russos might say that they tried to fairly distribute screentime among the different Avengers, but it looks like Tony Stark really took up most of Infinity War and Endgame.

Of course, the numbers come up differently if fans focus on only one film – if we put all of our focus on Infinity War, we find that Thanos had 25 minutes of screen time, Gamora (Zoe Saldana) had 17 minutes, and Tony only had 16. Iron Man had the most screentime however in Endgame, which makes sense considering the sacrifice he has to make in the movie.

Avengers: Endgame is currently available on Digital HD, Blu-Ray, and DVD.
