Elisabeth Moss’ Small Role in Batman Foreshadowed Her Part in The Invisible Man

Elisabeth Moss is known for a lot of films and TV, but her latest role has her play the victim in The Invisible Man. What's interesting is, her role in the film was kind of foreshadowed in a small role she played in Batman: The Animated Series.

In an episode called See No Evil, Moss voiced a little girl who is being stalked by her father who has procured a suit that could turn him invisible. Apparently, her father wanted to kidnap her so they could be together, and that's where Batman steps in and stops him.

Here's a clip from the episode:

What's very interesting is that there are a lot of similarities when it comes to the plot of 2020's Invisible Man. Rather than a chemical, the villain uses a suit to become invisible, and he's also using this to get close to someone he has a personal relationship with. Not to spoil too much of the film, but there's also an element of the Invisible Man wanting a child, and at this point, you can kind of suspect that the movie definitely lifted something from this episode.

If anything, The Invisible Man is getting a lot of great reviews, and it's definitely an interesting angle when it comes to the story. There's also a heavy theme on ‘gaslighting' and some think it has a very strong message about women and people who don't believe that they're being abused.
