Ever since the Battle of Winterfell, it looks like everything has been going downhill for the fandom of Game of Thrones. A lot of characters arcs have been ended in ways that don't make sense, and each of the actors have something to say about the finale.

While all the other actors were trying to be diplomatic about the finale, probably the most disappointed out of the quotes is Emilia Clarke, who said, "It fucked me up… Knowing that is going to be a lasting flavor in someone's mouth of what Daenerys is."
Daenerys was basically one of our heroes throughout the entire show, but come this final season the show has written her off to be the villain—and everyone is expecting Jon to off her and take his place on the throne now; so much for the union of Fire and Ice.
If anything, a lot of people have been joking that George R.R. Martin is waiting for the show to end as a way to "beta test" the ending on the fandom. Hopefully, come the final book, he'll give a more satisfying conclusion that the fandom can get behind.
Who knows, maybe HBO will revamp the show in a few years where they actually follow the events of the book accurately. Maybe they can call it Game of Thrones: Brotherhood.
