E3 2019: Marvel's Avengers Reveals First Look At Abomination

The reveal of the Marvel's Avengers trailer at E3 2019 certainly has people excited for the upcoming Square Enix game. After all, it confirmed that Abomination is coming and he's ready to take on the Hulk.

The trailer offered a fleeting glimpse at Abomination taking on the Hulk, something that could confirm that Emil Blonsky will play a major role in Marvel's Avengers. Interestingly, Abomination's new look consists of more spikes and a greener hue.

In the comic books, Emil Blonsky is a former Croatian communist spy who, like Bruce Banner, was mutated by radiation. This led to him transforming into a megalomaniacal, massive supervillain. Abomination has the same powers as the Hulk, but for some reason, he is able to transform back into a human. Needless to say, his inclusion in Marvel's Avengers is a welcome one.

The description for Marvel's Avengers reads as follows:

"Marvel's Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source. The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth's Mightiest Heroes."

Marvel's Avengers will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox, and PC on May 15, 2020.
