Dragon Ball Voice Actor Vic Mignogna Sues Funimation and Other Voice Actors for Defamation

He might not be the Legendary Super Saiyan but it looks like Vic Mignogna's rage is maximum. After being accused of sexual misconduct by fans and fellow voice actors, Mignogna has now decided to fight back, suing Funimation for firing him after his work on Dragon Ball Super: Broly, as well as his fellow voice actors for supposedly falsely accusing him.

According to Variety, he is not only suing Funimation but also Bulma voice actress Monica Rial, Jamie Marchi, and Rial's fiance Ronald Toye. The voice actor claims that Rial and Marchi have cost him his job in Funimation, as well as some con appearances. This obviously means that he is having a hard time making money so this is likely one of the reasons he's suing, along with the need to rebuild his reputation.

Fans have been accusing Mignogna of sexual harassment since 2008, with Rial and Marchi only speaking out about it recently. This cost Mignogna his job not just in Funimation but also in Rooster Teeth, where he lent his talents to the well-loved series RWBY. Fans have been split on Mignogna, with some happy that he is getting less work for inappropriate behavior and others who feel like he is being wronged.

It's a pretty delicate situation.

Dragon Ball Super: Broly is now available on Blu-Ray and Digital.
