Dragon Ball Super Chapter 86, titled An All-Out Battle, is set to release in a few days, continuing the Granolah the Survivor arc, and it looks like the battle against Gas, the "Strongest Warrior in the Universe" is coming to an end.
Earlier this week, Twitter outlet @Herms98 shared draft pages for Dragon Ball Super Chapter 86, revealing Gas's dominance in his fight against Goku. Despite Goku unleashing his Ultra Instinct - Sign form, it looks like the heroic Saiyan is having a difficult time trying to take down the overpowered villain.
On July 15, Twitter user @DBSChronicles shared major spoiler details from Mugiwara_23 that reveals what appears to be Gas's ultimate downfall against Goku, Vegeta, and Granolah:
As you can in the tweet above, Granolah ends up sending the finishing blow that takes down Gas, thanks to Goku and Vegeta's assistance, and although Gas doesn't appear to be dead, it looks like he's been defeated. Now, fans are wondering if Granolah still wants to find Frieza to avenge the extinction of his Cerealian race, and if he will play a role in future arcs of the popular shonen series.
For a battle that felt dragged, the conclusion of the fight against Gas feels anticlimactic and rushed. The way Granolah says that he doesn't want revenge anymore just feels off. Hopefully, Shueisha will reveal what the next arc of the manga will be.
