In Dragon Ball Super Chapter 68 written by Akira Toriyama with art by Toyotarou, we learn more about the newly-introduced sole survivor of the Cerealian race, Granolah. It's clear that he wants revenge against both Freeza's army and the Saiyan army, and his nightmare of the giant apes gives us a glimpse of the Saiyans annhilating his race. His fear and vulnerability are well-depicted on the pages, and if the new saga is setting him up to be the main villain, it's refreshing to see that he's not being presented as an overpowered evil entity like most Dragon Ball villains. It would be interesting to see him confront Frieza and the remaining Saiyans if ever they encounter each other, which will probably happen in this saga. It turns out that Granolah stole OG73-i to deliver it to the Heeters' Base, and that's where a new group of villains are introduced. The four members of the Heeters don't look too dangerous, but it looks like they have some serious plans with intel packed inside OG73-i, and they clearly have money. "These days, power comes in the form of money and intel," Elec says. They want to control the universe, but can their wealth bring them enough power to match the remaining Saiyans? Gas reminds me a bit of Kid Buu, and I wouldn't be surprised if one of the less powerful Z-fighters ended up fighting him.

Meanwhile, Whis is training Goku, and tells hi that Ultra Instinct shouldn't be his Ultimate Goal, and that it's in fact just a starting point. Goku apparently has a lot of room to grow, and at this point, with the endless power-ups the show has unleashed over decades, it's hard to imagine how he can become more powerful that his completed Ultra Instinct form. Beerus also tells Vegeta that Ultra Instinct is the angels' specialty, and that the gods of destruction have a unique technique. It must be something we haven't seen before, and it looks like Vegeta is eager to learn the technique from Beerus. It looks like Goku will go the angel way, and Vegeta the god way, and I think that's cool that this training scene is building up to their power level goals, but I hope those techniques will unlock new abilities instead of just the same raw power increase we've already seen in previous forms.

The fact that the Oracle Fish suffering from a lack of sleep is bad omen brings a sense fear of what is to come in this lighthearted chapter. We know that eventually Granolah will find Goku and Vegeta, and maybe even Freeza. This chapter is mostly setting up the players for a larger game, and I can see Granolah as an antihero who will do anything to get his revenge. He may not be currently in the same power level as Goku, Vegeta, or Freeza, but we've already seen a glimpse of his past, and know his motivations.

The end of this chapter will surely brew a lot of fan theories about who the "strongest fighter in the universe" in Universe 7. Could it be Goku, Vegeta, or Granolah? Or maybe someone else? With the chilling prophecy and the mystery of the Heeters' nefarious plans, this chapter does a fantastic job teasing the dark future of this saga and setting up the key fighters while still giving us a sense of space adventure and character development of the unique new fighter, Granolah the Survivor.
