Dragon Ball Heroes Fans Point Out Awesome Connection to Avengers: Infinity War

The ninth episode of Super Dragon Ball Heroes featured Vegeta, Jiren, and Future Trunks fighting against the Prison Planet escapees and the team of powerful villains proved to be too formidable for the heroic fighters, but Goku's new Ultra Instinct Omen power-up saves the day after training with the Grand Priest, and the way he entered would remind fans of a scene from Avengers: Infinity War.

After seeing the debut of "Grand Priest Goku", fans quickly spotted the connection between his epic battlefield debut and Thor's epic scene in Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War.

As Twitter user Oppai Senpai points out, the Grand Priest's transportation power in Dragon Ball Heroes looks like the Bitfrost passageway seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They both feature an overpowered warrior warping into the battlefield to wipe out a bunch of enemies and turn the tide of the battle.

The creators of Dragon Ball Heroes were probably fans of Avengers: Infinity War and it's fascinating to see the connection between both titles. The fun Easter egg was probably not purposefully done to connect with the Marvel Cinematic Universe but the connection is amusing.

Dragon Ball Super is currently available with English sub on Adult Swim during the Toonami block on Saturday nights. It can also be streamed on Funimation and Amazon Video. The Japanese language version is available to stream at Cruchyroll, FunimationNOW, and VRV.

Avengers: Endgame is set to release in theaters on April 26.
