Now that Vic Mignogna has basically blacklisted himself from the voice acting industry, it was only a matter of time before he was replaced as the voice of Broly in Dragon Ball Super. This was made apparent recently when it was revealed that Johnny Yong Bosch will now voice the exiled Saiyan, starting with Dragon Ball FighterZ. That's right, they didn't just use old Vic clips, Bosch starts as Broly when the DLC comes out later this week.
This was uncovered when certain streamers got their hands on the DLC and were able to listen to the character's English voice clips. It's clear that this is the voice of Bosch since fans who have listened to him as Nero from Devil May Cry or Jonathan Joestar in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure will know that is his voice.
Funnily enough, this isn't the first time Bosch has replaced Mignogna for a character. Vic used to voice Zabo in One Piece but was replaced by Bosch during the recent One Piece: Stampede movie. Obviously, some fans will have to get used to the fact that their favorite characters won't sound the same but that's what happens when you sexually harass people, try to sue when you're in the wrong, and end up owing a lot of people money.
Broly (DBS) will arrive in Dragon Ball FighterZ later this week, on December 5.
