Why Is Kiruko Looking for Robin?
Kiruko is searching for Robin in order to better comprehend what happened in the Funayama orphanage after surviving the man-eater attack on the Asakusa race track.
Kiruko's life became a haze after learning that the doctor, Sakota Teruhiko, had conducted surgery on her that resulted in his brother's brain being transplanted into her own body.
It cost her not only time away from the orphanage, but also cost her the events that occurred that made no sense to her.
Worse, Kiruko was going through an identity crisis because she realized she wasn't Kiruko but Haruki.
He was a young guy living in the body of his sister, not knowing what had happened to him.
And, because Robin is Haruki's most trusted and dependable person in the world, he relies on him for answers.
When Haruki/Kiruko returned to the orphanage following his surgery, he saw that everything had been abandoned, the racing track had been shut down, and the news of Robin's death had crushed him.
Rumor has it that Robin was assassinated after investigating Dr. Sakota's taboo experiments.
They claim that Dr. Sakota is investigating man-eaters, commonly known as Hiruko, and is conducting experiments on humans that would endanger their homes.
Haruki/Kiruko, fortunately, never uncovered any concrete evidence that would establish Robin's death, which is why he resolves to search for him and figure out what occurred.

Where Is Robin?
While escorting Maru, Kiruko/Haruki learns that Robin Inazaki has become a doctor. This supports Kiruko's optimism that Robin was still alive and well, serving others in his own way.
Apparently, Robin became a doctor and assisted Dr. Usami for a time before the Liviumen faction arose and mayhem ensued.
He assisted Dr. Usami's procedures, particularly with his beloved, who was supported by devices that kept her from turning into a hiruko.
Robin, on the other hand, vanished one day without a trace. Knowing this gives Kiruko/Haruki new motivation in life, and he hopes that one day he will be reunited with the man he most admires.
Because of the great calamity, Robin lost his sister, who is roughly Haruki's age.
This explains why Robin became overly protective of Haruki and Kiruko, as well as why the two siblings seek to track him down in post-apocalyptic Japan.

Does Kiruko Find Robin?
Yes, Kiruko/Haruki finds Robin in one of the Ministry of Reconstruction's buildings. He rose to prominence as a figurehead who was able to assist the many citizens who had relocated to live together in a shared society with shared resources.
Robin Inazaki's innovations and ideas could be found all around the hamlet, and Kiruko couldn't be happier.
What Kiruko didn't realize was that Robin had a secret side to him that he didn't want her to know about until they reunited.
Robin was gracious in welcoming Kiruko back, but after one night in Robin's quarters, everything changed, including Kiruko's point of view.
Kiruko spent her first night with Robin in agony, while Maru slept blissfully in a rental outside the building.
Robin handcuffed Kiruko and then began sexually abusing her, insulting Hiruko's identity in the process.
Maru became suspicious after Kiruko did not return to their rental in the following days.
Something was clearly wrong, and it was only a matter of time before things became considerably worse.
Maru decided to take action, and he discovered a naked and cuffed Kiruko in Robin's bed.
That was the last time Kiruko heard from Robin, who had fled without leaving any indications as to his new whereabouts.
What is certain is that Robin was the one who experimented on man-eaters and that he was a foe rather than an ally.
