Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Trailer Unites Wanda with the Sorcerer Supreme

There is no rest for Marvel fans. Just hours after the Hawkeye season finale was dropped, we now have the first official teaser for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. This time, it looks like the Sorcerer Supreme is in over his head and he needs Wanda Maximoff's help. But will Scarlet Witch actually do more harm than good?

The first Doctor Strange 2 teaser opens with Wong warning Stephen Strange about the consequences of casting "the spell." The Sorceror Supreme initially questions his companion who tells him that there is still so much we need to learn about the Multiverse. This time, Wong appears to be right as Strange finds himself in a destroyed Sanctum Sanctorum.

So how do we stop this? Strange reaches out to Wanda Maximoff, who expresses her remorse for what happened in Westview. However, that's not why the Sorceror Supreme needs her help with the Multiverse.

They keep throwing that word around but do we have proof that it is a threat? Not surprisingly, the trailer also confirms that. At the end of the teaser, Strange is faced with the real threat to the universe: An evil version of himself.

It's an awesome tease at things to come and we even get a very brief glimpse at America Chavez in the trailer. In addition to that, it looks like Scarlet Witch is getting an updated version of her suit.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Rachel McAdams. The sequel will also introduce Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez aka Miss America.

Are you ready to enter the madness? Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be the first Marvel Cinematic Universe movie to be dropped next year as it hits theaters on May 6, 2022.
