It's almost time to watch Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness! The Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel is finally set to hit theaters next month and tickets are about to go on sale next week. A new promo reveals when tickets will go live and it also features some new footage from the highly anticipated MCU flick!
The new Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness promo opens with Stephen Strange telling Wanda Maximoff that the Multiverse is life or death and that they could use the help of an Avenger. Interestingly, Wanda isn't eager to get back in action. However, Stephen won't be turned down.
There's a lot of awesome new footage in the teaser. At one point, we get to see Wong preparing to fight with Scarlet Witch on his side. It certainly looks like the heroes have a lot of things to worry about but can they work together long enough to save the Multiverse? The truth will be revealed later this May.
Doctor Strange 2 follows the events in Loki and Spider-Man: No Way Home where the Multiverse has been unleashed. The Sorcerer Supreme must now find a way to fix the problem with the help of old friends as well as some new ones. But will Stephen also manage to defeat a mysterious new adversary?
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is directed by Sam Raimi and brings back Benedict Cumberbatch as the Sorcerer Supreme, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Benedict Wong as Wong, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo, and Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer. New cast members include Michael Stuhlbarg as Nicodemus West and Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez.
Tickets for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will go on sale on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. The film hits theaters on May 6, 2022.
