Doctor Strange 2 Will Reportedly Introduce John Krasinski as [SPOILERS]


There is little doubt that fans have high hopes when it comes to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. After all, it will be the first Marvel Cinematic Universe film that is set for release this year and it's also the follow-up to the highly successful Spider-Man: No Way Home. So what does the MCU sequel have to offer? A new leak suggests that John Krasinski will show up in the upcoming film and he might be playing someone people have been hoping to see for a long time!

It's no secret that fans have been pushing for John Krasinski to join the MCU. This all started when it was announced that Fantastic Four will get another major reboot, this time as part of the MCU.

So is it possible that people are finally getting what they want this year? A new report from The Illuminerdi seemingly confirms that John Krasinski has been cast as, you guessed it, Reed Richards in Doctor Strange 2. The character could be introduced in the MCU sequel before joining the rest of his team in Fantastic Four.

It's an exciting update considering that the A Quiet Place star has been a fancasted as Mister Fantastic for a long time now. However, it is important to point out that the casting has not yet been confirmed by Marvel Studios and Disney. With that in mind, it's best to take this with a grain of salt.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will bring back Benedict Cumberbatch as the Sorcerer Supreme, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch, Benedict Wong as Wong, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Karl Mordo, and Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer. The sequel will also introduce Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez.

Doctor Strange 2 hits theaters on May 6, 2022.
