Disney Budget For Marvel’s Disney+ Shows Reportedly At $25 Million Per Episode

Disney's spending a lot on the new Marvel live-action series being prepared for Disney+. The Mickey Mouse House may end up producing some of the most expensive shows in the streaming game because the company has ginormous budgets for Marvel's slew of shows on its upcoming streaming platform.

This week, Variety put out a report suggesting that Marvel Studios may end up taking over Marvel Television so that all of Marvel's shows would end up in one studio. The same report also says that insiders are claiming that Disney might end up spending from $12 million to $25 million for each episode of each new series that Marvel is developing for the site – much larger than the $15 million per episode budget that HBO reportedly set aside for the eighth and final season of the phenomenal fantasy epic, Game of Thrones.

That means Marvel's new shows could very well become the most expensive streaming project to date. And Marvel has a lot of new shows on Disney+. There's WandaVision, Hawkeye, Loki, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, and Miss Marvel. That's going to cost Disney a whole lot of money.

Of course, the Mickey Mouse House would want to go all out with the production of its new series. All of the shows that Marvel is preparing for Disney+ is going to be directly tied with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. That means Marvel fans are going to have to subscribe to Disney+ to follow the shows so that they can keep up with the latest happenings in the MCU.

We can't wait for the shows to drop.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier premieres on Disney+ in Fall 2020. WandaVision follows a year after in Spring 2021 along with Loki.
