Now that Disney+ will be amongst a handful of streaming platforms expected very soon. It is inevitable that, at some point, some franchises wouldn't be as popular as they are now in the following years. The same goes for other studios and films as well. However, from the many franchises in the company, one that Disney firmly believes in is Marvel.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter amongst other film executives, Alan Horn, Disney's chief creative officer and co-chairman, talked about the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. When asked if whether or not fans would grow tired of Marvel movies, Horn confidently said no.

He thinks that as long as the film has a "compelling storyline," "heart and humor," and is "terrifically well executed," he believes that there would still be audiences that'll to stick to watching it.

The outlet also mentioned that a lot of people see Disney's strategy as "what's working." THR raised a question regarding at what point do their remakes end despite the company's success in "remaking the library catalog." Horn admits that Disney will run out of films like Aladdin or Lion King at some point. He also believes that it's a finite universe, but they are doing efforts of stepping away from the typical plots of classic stories.

Without a doubt, Marvel has one of the biggest fandoms in the industry. It would be unlikely that they'll lose the audience, in fact, it is possible that the fandom will only grow bigger since a few years from now, these movies will be deemed as classics, which fans will find to be reaching out to more in the future.

Some projects from the MCU will be included at the launch of Disney+ including the Star Wars franchise, and Pixar content. The streaming platform will be available on November 12.
