The first trailer for Toei Animation's Digimon Adventurereboot has arrived and it's going to make a lot of ‘90s kids have fuzzy feelings. Just when we thought the saga of Taichi Kamiya and the others were going to end with the upcoming movie, this reboot is going to retell his adventures all over again. Admittedly, there isn't a lot of story details we can decipher here but there are some cool shots of Agumon killing some other Digimon.
While we can't say every episode will look good, the few that are spotlighted here are gorgeous and gives us a much-needed update when it comes to animation. Though not horrible, the original Digimon Adventure suffered from having a low budget and would often repeat animations for the Digimon's attacks. Still, a lot of effort was put into making the characters memorable and is one reason why we even have a reboot in the first place.
Fans will also be happy to know that the Digimon Adventure reboot will be debuting on April 5 so mark your calendars. Hopefully, we also get trailers that focus on the other characters, like Yamato, Sora, Mimi, and Joe, among others.
