Would you believe we are already halfway through Loki? Marvel Studios wants to make sure you're ready for the last three episodes of the Disney+ series with the help of a new midseason teaser. But did the new footage also spoil what will happen in Episode 3 and in the series finale?
The new teaser features a highlight of some of the best moments from the first three episodes. It also confirms that the first part of Loki has been about the God of Mischief being brought to the TVA to track down his Variant who has been killing the Minutemen.
It was nice to relive the surprise we all got when it was revealed that the Variant is actually a female version of Loki named Sylvie. However, the sneak peek also shares new footage from the upcoming episode.
At one point, it is confirmed that Sylvie is captured by the TVA. Loki is also brought in and he even complains that there isn't enough security holding him. This scene suggests that Sylvie and Loki will be rescued by the TVA before Lamentis' destruction.
The teaser also features a brief look at young Sylvie that previously appeared in the character's featurette. But this time, it is immediately followed by a shot of Loki being brought into the TVA by the Hunters. It's an interesting sequence that might confirm the theory that Sylvie was captured by TVA at an early age and that she holds a grudge against them.
The fourth episode of Loki will premiere on Disney+ on Wednesday, June 30, 2021.
