There is little doubt that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is one of the most anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe films right now. But when exactly will we get any updates on the sequel? James Gunn may have revealed that he has already started working on the third Guardians movie although he is still working on The Suicide Squad.
We all know that Gunn is one of the most active celebrities on social media, as he usually responds to questions being asked by fans. For instance, one of the filmmaker's followers asked Gunn if he knew who would be working on the next DC Extended Universe film. "I imagine you won't be doing Marvel and DC at the same time," the fan wrote. Interestingly, Gunn's response addressed the comment.
Wait, so does that mean that Gunn is currently preparing for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3? There are speculations that the director is already assembling his crew for the MCU movie. However, pre-production might still be in its early stages since Gunn would need to continue filming The Suicide Squad.
It is important to point out that Gunn did not confirm the status of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 just yet. With that in mind, it's best to take this with a grain of salt.
