Did Ed Boon Tease Wonder Woman for Mortal Kombat 11?

Mortal Kombat 11 has become one of the odder fighting games to come out in recent memory. While the fighter has been praised for great graphics and an awesome combat system, fans have been critical about the game's progression system, though NetherRealm has patched out some of these problems. Despite all this, gamers are still excited to see who ends up as DLC, especially since Spawn was recently confirmed.

Well, notorious Mortal Kombat director Ed Boon has decided teasing fans with the possibility that DC superhero Wonder Woman could be one of the game's DLC fighters. Boon went on Twitter, shared the new poster for Wonder Woman 1984, and used the hashtag #WWW which stands for "Where is Wonder Woman?"

This next theory could be considered a bit farfetched but there's also a chance that this could be new gear for Wonder Woman in Injustice 2. This is really doubtful since Warner Bros and NetherRealm Studios is only supporting the game's online support at this point but it would be neat if they did this.

Expect more details for the Mortal Kombat 11 DLC to be revealed in the coming months. Leaks have claimed that The Joker from Batman will be one of the DLC characters, which could rule out Wonder Woman as a choice, but we'll have to wait and see.

Mortal Kombat 11 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
