The Cased Closed franchise has found another major hit. Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween remains the top film in Japan on its third week in theaters, bringing in $5.65 million at the box office during the weekend!

Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween ("Meitantei Conan: Halloween no Hanayome") was released on April 15 and has only been in theaters for three weeks. However, the latest Cased Closed film is already on its way to becoming the franchise's most successful movie. The Bride of Halloween has just brought in 735 million yen (around $5.65 million) with 580,000 admissions during the weekend, firmly staying on the No.1 spot at the Japanese box office.

In total, The Bride of Halloween has already earned 5.231 billion yen (about $40.25 million) on 3,732,000 admissions. It still has a long way to go before it could overtake the franchise's biggest hit which is 2019's Detective Conan: The Fist of Blue Sapphire and its $115,570,314 worldwide earnings. However, there is little doubt that the new movie will easily get there soon. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
