Destined With You is a new Netflix Kdrama playing on the idea of reincarnation and curses. Now that the show has ended we're here to explain what happened at the ending of Destined With You.
Do Shin-yu and Hong-jo end up together? How were they connected in the past? Here's what we know.
How Do Hong-jo and Shin-yu Get Together?

When Jang Shin-yu (played by Rowoon) awakens, he gets a chance to read the messages sent by Lee Hong-jo (played by Jo Bo-ah). The two decide to meet at the hospital where Hong-jo asks for the wooden box to be returned to her.
In the background, however, it is revealed that someone is spying on the two and taking a photo of them together. These photos are then sent to Shin-yu's girlfriend, Na-yeon (played by Yura).
She calls a number and orders that person to stop. This is perceived as Na-yeon being behind these events.
Na-yeon then visits her boyfriend at the hospital where they talk about their travel plans. Hong-jo is worried that the Shin-yu might be cursed once again after the love destruction spell.
To get answers, she visits her shaman, Eun-wol (played by Kim Hye-ok). Once there, she gets enticed to try a new spell.
It is later revealed that Na-yeon has been conniving with Na Jung-beom (played by Ahn Sang-woo). Only this time, Na-yeon has gone against his orders.
How are Hong-jo and Shin-yu Linked in the Past?

The episode also reveals how Shin-yu and Hong-jo were linked in the past. After deciding not to go on the trip, Shin-yu looks for Hong-jo at the Buyongjae Fireworks Festival. There, he confesses his feelings.
This brings back memories of their past, where the two talked about running away together.

As it turns out, the two have since been connected and destined to be together in their past lives. In their past lives, the two grew up together and eventually became a couple.
As the present Hong-jo and Shin-yu kiss, their past selves also share the same action. So yes, the two did end up together to conclude the show.
It was revealed that the two have since been destined for each other in the past and in the present.
