Demon Slayer Season 2 Shares New Footage Featuring Entertainment Arc Villain Daki

It's almost time for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 and a promotional reel has just been released. Luckily, it features a better glimpse at the Entertainment District arc villain Daki and reveals more about the mysterious new character.

The promotional reel covers everything from the anime so far which includes the first season and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie - Mugen Train. However, it also features the big reveal for this year which is the second season.

The highlight of the Entertainment District arc is new footage of Daki, the Twelve Moons demon who will serve as the main villain in the second season. In the footage, Daki drops some wisdom to her followers. "Keeping silent when you see horrible things is the secret to living a long life," the demon says. "That's how everyone around me has managed to survive."

It's obviously a thinly-veiled threat and it makes sure viewers know that Daki isn't someone to mess around with. Needless to say, we can't wait to see the demon in action this December.

The promo reel also confirms that Daki will be played by legendary voice actor Miyuki Sawashiro who voiced Fujiko Mine in Lupin the Third and Valkyrie Yuna in Edens Zero.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 will premiere with a special episode focusing on Rengoku Kyojuro on October 10. This will be followed by six episodes following the Mugen Train arc. The Entertainment District arc will start with Episode 8, which will be broadcast on December 5, 2021.
