It's almost time for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Episode 4 and fans are undoubtedly looking forward to seeing how Tanjiro Kamado will deal with Enmu. After all, the Lower Rank One demon of the Twelve Moons has managed to put every passenger on Mugen Train into a deep slumber. But how will Tanjiro manage to defeat Enmu when he could barely get out of his own dream?
Demon Slayer Season 2: What Happens in Episode 4?
In the previous episode, all the Demon Slayers were in a deep sleep, unaware that Enmu had ordered some sleep-deprived passengers to enter their dream and locate their spirit cores with the intention to destroy it. However, Tanjiro realizes he is dreaming and tries to find a way to wake up.
In desperation, Tanjiro escapes from his family and runs into the forest trying to find the intruder in his dream. In the forest, he suddenly encounters his dead father, who tells him to draw his blade. Tanjiro realizes that the only way to awaken is to kill himself so he cuts his own neck.
In Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 4, it is revealed that killing himself in his dream effectively jolted him awake. After rendering Enmu's agents unconscious, Tanjiro tells Nezuko to try and awaken the other Demon Slayers as he goes after Enmu.
The fight between Tanjiro and Enmu is a tricky one since the demon repeatedly tries to put his opponent to sleep. However, Tanjiro now knows how to awaken himself immediately and never relents in his attacks.
It's a difficult fight but Tanjiro manages to defeat the demon. However, it is revealed that Enmu has an even bigger plan and now all the Demon Slayers must work together to save the train.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Episode 4 is titled Insult. The episode premieres on November 7, 2021, at 11:15PM JST.
