The third episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 had a cool surprise for fans. Tanjuro Kamado made an unexpected appearance in Episode 3 and fans can't get enough of the awesome cameo.
People were not exactly expecting anything new in Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 3. After all, it has already been proven that the first few episodes of the second season will feature footage from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie - Mugen Train.
However, there was an awesome surprise at the end of Episode 3. Instead of the usual "gossip" from the Taisho era, the segment expanded on Tanjiro's brief reunion with his father in his dream.
In the post-credits scene, Tanjuro expressed his pride over his son finding his determination. He also advised Tanjiro to stay strong in spite of all the pain and told him to help everyone who is being hurt by demons. Finally, the older Kamado left his daughter Nezuko in her brother's care.
It's a bittersweet reunion and Demon Slayer fans are loving how Tanjiro finally got the chance to learn that his father believes in him.
Tanjuro only appeared briefly in the first season of Demon Slayer since he is already dead and only appears in flashbacks. This is why fans loved the new scene that reunited him with his son. It's unlikely that we'll see Tanjuro again in new footage but there's a chance he'll be back in more flashbacks in Season 2.
People who are hoping for Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 4 are in for some bad news. The premiere of the fourth episode has been delayed due to a special broadcast on Fuji TV. This means that the next episode will air on the following week instead.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Episode 4 will premiere on Sunday, November 7, 2021.
