Demon Slayer: Bandai Premium to Release Miniature Collectible Swords

Demon Slayer is fairly new to the anime game but in a short span of time, it has been able to leave quite the impression on fans in and out of Japan, quickly becoming one of the most successful anime titles in recent memory. The series continues to make waves ahead of its second season which will hit the small screen in October.


Speaking of how popular Demon Slayer is, besides the anime and the film, fans are also sinking their teeth into several merch items that are currently red hot within the anime community. Now, Bandai Premium is once again capitalizing on the Demon Slayer craze big time with the release of an upcoming set featuring the swords of Tanjiro, Rengoku, and other members of the Demon Slayer Corps.

The said items aren't life-sized replicas of the weapons and are basically categorized as cutlery but you can also consider them as cool collectible pieces. Retailed at $73 USD per set which isn't all that shabby, the miniature Nichirin blades will begin hitting stores in March 2022. Of course, it won't necessarily help you vanquish demons but it won't give you any problems devouring food items. Check them out below:

Going back to Demon Slayer Season 2, the anime will make use of the animation from the critically acclaimed and financially successful Demon Slayer: Mugen Train film but as revealed by the show's creators, Season 2 will explore the "day before" Tanjiro and his friends arrived on the runaway locomotive. Expect the second season to be more explosive than its predecessor.

Demon Slayer Season 2 will premiere with a one-hour-long episode to kick off the Mugen Train arc on Oct. 10.
